"Digital cable and cable modem requires the ability to “talk back” to the cable company’s system, standard cable TV amplifiers lack this ability. This amplifier is housed in a robust, tin plated zinc housing providing 130dB shielding against RF leakage. Low internal noise and built-in magnetism resistant ferrites ensure a clean and clear picture. An auxiliary input is provided to allow the addition of a locally generated signal (Via RF modulator) to the broadband signal. The forward gain (54~1000MHz) is 15dB and the reverse gain (5~42MHz) is 10dB."
